If you had joined us last year at our Thanksgiving dinner, you know that this annual dinner is a sumptuous and enjoyable occasion.

 

This year, we had an early celebration of Thanksgiving in October 2014. We had turkey, ham, local food, nonya kueh and even birthday cake for everyone. We had friends from Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippine, India, Russia, China...It was a wonderful time to meet new friends and forge bonds across different cultures.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Apart from feasting, we had fun playing games and getting to know one another more. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We also had international and Singaporean friends share their experiences with us about life in Singapore. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The evening would not have been complete without music. Our Singaporean friend Mary led us in a wonderful time of sing-along, accompanied by her ukulele, keyboard and an impromptu angklung ensemble.
