On a Saturday evening on 19 January 2012, a curious-looking group gathered in Chinatown amidst the bustling crowds:
Gathering outside Chinatown Station, eager to start the walk.
More than 15 international students from countries such as China, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, India and Philippines had registered for FOCUS Singapore's Lunar New Year walk in Chinatown. Undeterred by the rain, they met up with a group of Singaporean FOCUS volunteers, and toured the streets of Chinatown.
The rain did not dampen our spirits.
The Singaporean and international friends took time to explore the many sights and sounds in Chinatown.
